WhatsApp is an instant messaging application that has become one of the most popular applications across the globe.  This application is now used across the 109 countries along with one billion customers.

WhatsApp is now reached almost in every corner of the globe including countries and regions such as India, Brazil, Mexico, Russia and many other countries in South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania.

The number of WhatsApp’s subscriber in India has reached to over 70 million peoples along with over one billion monthly active users across the globe. Out of 187 countries, WhatsApp was the world leader claiming 109 countries.

Facebook’s Messenger app is now stood at second position in the market, claiming 49 countries including Australia, Canada and the US. Moreover, Viber was the only other messaging app to claim 10 or more countries.

Till the date, Viber is a strong contender which has strong popularity in Eastern Europe and is the top app in Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, among others. Compared to Android devices, the Viber messaging app has been installed on 65% share of the entire market in Ukraine in 2015.

Other company such as BlackBerry’s BBM is one of the leading apps in Indonesia which has still great demand in the country. Line, WeChat and Telegram are other messaging apps claiming multiple countries with China, Iran and Japan.
