Microsoft announces new workplace chat tool


On Wednesday, Microsoft announced a new workplace chat tool named Microsoft Teams. It will be present in office 365 along with Word, PowerPoint and Excel. By launching this too the company is trying to woo monthly active core customers which are in numbers of more than 85 millions.

Team is easy to use and is more fun. Apart from having conversations, the tool can be used to have video chats with coworkers. It is equipped with GIFs, stickers and emoji. User can connect twitter posts too.

Team will be made available to the Office 365 users with specific plans. It will run on operating systems like iOS, Window, Mac and Android. It is presently on trial in 181 countries in 18 languages and will be officially be ready to use in early 2017.###
