Apple Inc. mentioned in a statement regarding the delay as,

“We have discovered a bug in development of Watch OS 2 that is taking a bit longer to fix than we expected, and we will not release Watch OS 2 today but will shortly. We will not release watchOS 2 today, but will shortly.”

The operating system was about to launch on Tueday, with iOS 9 for other devices including iPads and iPhones. The delay in the release doesn’t seem to be a surprise for the Apple fans. When iOS 8 was released last year, the operating system was reported for the large number of bugs present on it, and also, the same was reported for various issues such as Wi-Fi connectivity problems, Internet connectivity issues and so on.

At the same time, the company responded to the issue and released a patch within two weeks of release. The delay in the release of the operating system makes the Apple Watch owners to become sad. But, in the meanwhile, it will lead the operating system to become more bug free one. Also, the company will entirely focus on the WatchOS 2 to become bug free, and also releases it quickly to the Apple Watch users.

The company mentioned that the new operating system comes with several new features, and also allows the developers to directly use the sensors present over the Apple Watch. In addition to that, the new features of the operating system will come with Siri support and various Wi-Fi upgrade features.
