Stylus 2 smartphone has been launched by LG in India. The company said in its statement that Stylus 2 sale will start from Wednesday in the market. Stylus 2 smartphone was launched just ahead of the MWC 2016 trade show and went on sale in South Korea itself. It was costing KRW 396,000 (Approximately 22,000 INR) in the Korean market.
This smartphone has got a touted handset stylus bearing non-coated tip to get better accuracy. Previously, a rubber tip was seen in LG G4 Stylus. Stylus 2 comes with Pen Pop showing the popup menu whenever the stylus is removed. It even offers the shortcuts like Pop Scanner and Pop Memo. Its ‘Pen Keeper’ feature notifies the user when the stylus bay gets empty.
LG Stylus 2 Plus has got a 5.7inches in-cell display having screen resolution of 720 x 1280pixels. It is powered with Snapdragon Quad-core processor with clocking speed of 1.2GHz. The 2GB RAM handles multitasking fantastically. It comes with 16GB in-built memory that can be expanded by adding memory card to microSD slot. The 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera are the two powerful benefits provided by this smartphone to its users.
Stylus 2 runs on LG UI 5.0 and comes pre-installed with Android Marshmallow 6.0. The thunderous highlight of this smartphone is its 4G LTE and VoLTE (Voice over LTE) features. It supports two LTE bands in India – TDD 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD 1800MHz (Band 3). The 3000mAh removable battery makes this smartphone worth buying. The phone weighs just 145g and is just 7.4mm thick. It is available in Titan and brown colors.
