Recently, a bill was introduced in the U.S Senate which would then allow every victim’s families in 9/11 to sue Saudi Arabia. This bill was passed by a unanimous vote, but President Obama has decided to veto it. Still, the Saudi Arabian media are all over the U.S government and are making some serious allegations over them.
A Breitbart report said that Saudi Arabia is now claiming that the U.S itself had planned and carried out the whole attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon to create a war on terrorism. This is a huge allegation and the U.S government won’t take it lightly.
The article which said all this was written by a Saudi legal expert Katib al-Shammari and it was published in the Al-Hayat which is based in London. The United States was recently threatening that it will expose documents which prove that Saudi Arabia funded the 9/11 attacks and was heavily involved in planning the most brutal terrorist attack in the United States.
The expert who wrote the article said that the country of United States is known to play games by withholding the information only to use it sometime in future and he calls it “victory by holding archives”. The country also claims that during the non-invasion of Iraq in the 1990s, U.S kept Saddam Hussein alive only because it could then use it against other nations. They also claim that U.S got rid of Saddam only when they felt him to be a liability than an advantage.
Citing this occasion, Saudi Arabia says that the 9/11 attacks were also a plan along these lines where they could lay the blame on anyone whom they feel convenient at any given time. Over the years, U.S has blamed everyone from Al-Qaeda, Taliban, Saddam Hussein and now Saudi Arabia. Al-Shammari, the legal expert claims that this attack helped the U.S create a false enemy which was terrorism and then later create secret wars on the name of it to seek revenge.
He further says, “The manufacturers of United States cannot exist without an enemy and thus they try to create enemies of their own to overpower other countries and institutions.” There are many such allegations against the U.S by the media of Saudi Arabia, but it can be due to this bill which has been passed.
